  1. What is embroidery?
    Embroidery is the embellishment of garments with decorative needlework, in which your design is actually sewn into the fabric. Embroidery provides a professional look for casual business wear, bags, and hats.
  2. How much does embroidery cost?
    Embroidery prices are determined by stitch-count. Stitch-count is the actual number of stitches in your embroidered design. Our online prices include up to 8000 stitches, which covers most logos. If your logo exceeds 8000 stitches, your embroidery will be priced accordingly. In order to accurately determine the stitch-count, your logo must be digitized for embroidery.
  3. What is the "digitizing fee"?
    Digitizing is the process of turning your logo or design into a program file that is read by the embroidery machines. This file maps out every stitch in your logo and tells the machine exactly how to sew it out. Our digitizing fees are $60.00 for logos up to 8000 stitches. Larger logos may incur additional charges. This fee is a one-time setup fee and your logo will be kept on file for future use.
  4. What is the average turn around time for custom apparel?
    Typical turn around time for custom embroidered apparel is about 7-12 business days from the time your order is placed until the day it is picked up or shipped. This turn around time can vary depending on the size of your order and how much work is needed to prepare your artwork.
  5. Can I get my order rushed?
    We try to accommodate rush orders on a per order basis. If you need your order quickly, please contact a representative at 1-316-838-0001 or send an email to jay@artistikpromo.com.
  6. What is a sew-out? Can I get one for my logo?
    A sew-out is a sample of your embroidered logo sewn into a fabric swatch. This sample can be mailed to you for your approval before production. Please keep in mind that requesting a sew-out may delay your order a few days.
  7. Is there a minimum quantity I have to order?
    There is a 6 piece minimum for all custom apparel orders.
  8. How do I submit my artwork or design?
    You may email your logo or design to jay@artistikpromo.com. Please be sure to include your contact information or your order number. If you would like to mail your artwork to us on disk or hard copy, please mail it to:

  9. Can I see a sample before my order goes into production?
    Due to the amount of set up time required, sample embroidered garments are usually not practical for small orders. However, in order to assure your order accuracy, we will provide you with an e-proof of your design for you to approve before production. You may also request a sew-out of your logo if you wish. Blank garment samples can be purchased online.
